Wow yeah, got bored of Runescape atm (even drawing Runescape) So i'll be taking a break of the game for a bit I think..
I think it was becoming obvious as I barely make a Runescape related drawing atm...
Also, I want to focus on a different subject with drawing than Runescape itself..Ofcourse I still have to finish some commissions I'm working on.

But after that, I'm going to focus on drawing stuff from 1 of my most favorite games, Tales of Symphonia! (Ofcourse I don't expect you to know it, despite being it one of the most famous "Tales of" games made) To be specific, certain scenes from out of the story that are caused by certain relationship build that occures in the game. For example If you would play the game plainly you would end up having Colette, Lloyd's friend since childhood, having the best relation with him. Ofcourse in the game it was possible to alter this, and have another character like Lloyd the most. That would change some of the small details in the game, but still, the small details hold a very important value. Males of the group would turn out as Best friends, and Females of the group would turn out as the main character's love. I be you know on wich 1 I'm going to focus. This will be the first time I draw stuff from another game, as my main game was Runescape for some time, and other things that i made were drawings of portraits or stuff, but never from an other game.





***[IGNORE THIS IF YOUR NOT INTERESTED IN SPOILERS, STORY OR MY PLANS OF TALES OF SYMPHONIA, simply skip to the end of the text]***


For those who don't know Tales of Symphonia...The drawings will be mainly of the main character Lloyd, and one of his companions Presea. Lloyd is 17, an idealist and is very skilled, but ofcourse lack serious knowledge. Often he jokes about this, realising he's not perfect or anything like that, and know mistakes are perfectly normal. Presea however, joins much later in Lloyd's group to reunite the two worlds. At first, Presea is still under experiment of a Cruxis Crystal, an over evolved exphere used by the angels. Therefore, her age did not change for 16 years long (except for her mind ofcourse) and she had a lack of emotion, and even her memory was gone in those 16 years. In other world, she is a 28 year old women trapped in the body of her 12 year old appearance, and lost 16 years of what happened in her life. Once Lloyd got her out of the experimental situation, Presea started to age again, remember everything and slowly getting back her emotions.

During the story it is possible to find out that Presea has feelings for Lloyd during one of the skits you can have for both of them. Ofcourse there are many Genis/Presea fans out there. Mainly because Presea's physical appearance is still 12, and comes close to Genis' age, wich is also 12. Also by the fact that Genis gets a crush on Presea. Presea however, sees Genis as just a kid (also shown in a skit) and have no direct strong feelings towards him. (Genis is Lloyds best friend btw and 1 of the 9 members that Lloyd's group has)


(This story now is based on having Presea to like Lloyd the most)

Now the Relation between Lloyd and Presea already starts good. Lloyd feels sorry for Presea's situation, and he would do anything to help her combatting her dark past. The more scenes they would get, the more the "older-brother protects younger-sister" situation starts to dissapear, and will be replaced with romance ofcourse. This first start at Flanoir (a city) if they talk on the snowy balcony.

Then in Heimdall (elven city) they have another walk outside during moonlight (oh yeah). This is where Presea believes that her life is common to the life of an exphere, wich is lonely, and that living forever would be true hell. Lloyd compares this as having holidays forever without having to make his homework ever (Lloyd hates school). Although it's not exactly the same, Presea then gives an example using herself, telling it's like her mind has progressed, but out of everyone, she's the only one still on holidays and was not able to go to the next grade alongside with the people of her childhood. Lloyd then tells her that he would be always there for her, that they should grow older together so she would never be lonely ever again. He also invites her to come along with him on his journy to collect all the expheres, after the main quest is done.

After her body was taken over for a short period by mithos and Lloyd saved her again. They had another conversation about how Lloyd will never leave her behind. This is also the first time Presea really smiles with her cheeks all blushed. After the story, Lloyd takes Presea on his journy to collect all the expheres, and here is where I can use my imagination to fill a 2year long gap.

Later on, in the sequel of Tales of Symphonia, Lloyd tells Emill (main character of the sequel) Who he travelled with, wich was Presea, and that they even were a couple (trying to explaine that Presea is actually much older than she looks like). Later then,  when Lloyd stand again on the balcony of Flanoir, Presea comes and ask if everything is ok. They start having a conversation about the first time they stood there on the balcony. Presea tells him she believes he is the strongest person in the world if he decides to help other people. Then Lloyd say he wants to be just like that and goes on his one knee and hold her hand (the proposal pose lol) and tells her he would use all his strength to protect Presea, and once again, never leave her side ever again. After that story, they eventually head out together again on a journy (where I can use my imagination again lol)

Now the reason why I choose Presea instead of Colette is because Presea has:
1) A very sad past.
2) Very heart melting scenes about her getting back her emotion and understanding.
2) The most intense scenes if she would be the soulmate of Lloyd.

Some of the scenes I will be focussing on is:
1) Presea starts understanding expheres alongside with Lloyd.
2) Lloyd and Presea's first Flanoir scene (Flanoir is a village, you will probably see it later) This is where their bond actually get very strong.
3) Lloyd and Presea's Heimdall scene.
4) The second Flanoir scene where Lloyd actually shows his love for Presea.
And so on...

other scenes could involve the person on its own or a clash with a bit more characters of the game. We'll see I guess!

Now this would be a complete change to my overall drawing. I've always been used to "sorta" invent the character alongside with my impression of Runescape Armour. Also I could draw in a style that i'm comfortable with (wich was a big mix of a lot of styles making it something different). Now I'm going to be drawing characters that already exist, including character history and so on, wich is really vital for me to make an impressive drawing. Also, the style is completely Anime. So no spin-offs to something else but Anime. I see this as a chance to become much better in drawing Anime (since I believe that style is not my strongest 1) Stuff like armours will be almost completely taboo  (very small chance of featuring weapons) as most of the clothing are...well...clothing! No more shining armours

Now, it can take a while before I finally start on this personal project (since I do love the story i'm going for). The reason for this is that my exams are almost there and I basicly can't afford to daydream too much about the drawings (and this is hard as I'm already obsessed about the story). Before I return to my usual drawing, I'd love to finish this ToS project. After that I can see if the Anime style improved my current style (Anime style is very dynamic imo, and that's something I could use in my current drawings). It is also possible that during the ToS drawings I will put some extra Runescape drawings on DA, depending if I started to play again and got a commission, but for now I do not intend to draw something out of my own if it's Runescape related. I think this break will deffinitly be good for me.
